Hello my name is Laura Hutchings, I am 27 years old and teach the piano, clarinet, flute, saxophone and recorder within the Exeter and surrounding areas, both privately and within schools.

My greatest passion is music, I began by learning to play the recorder when I was 5 years old, followed by the piano, clarinet, saxophone and flute.

I have 11 years of teaching experience and teach all ages and standards including beginners. I encourage my pupils to take exams as I feel it is a great achievment, I currently have a 100% exam pass rate. I have also been fully CRB checked.

I feel it is such a gift to be able to play an instrument and read music. I am very proud of every one of my pupils, to see them achieve a next level is an amazing feeling, especially knowing that I have helped them.

I like to hold a music concert at least once a year, it gives a chance for everyone to get together and listen to each other. Both myself and some of my pupils have also performed at various functions.
